NEUROPATHY

Safe, effective, non-invasive treatment for neuropathy

peripheral neuropathy explained

Do you have pins and needles, tingling, or even sharp pains in your hands or feet? Are you losing balance or mobility?

You may be suffering from neuropathy. Neuropathy is a disorder of the peripheral nerves—the ones outside your brain and spinal cord—and leads to weakness, numbness, and pain, usually in the hands and feet. It can also lead to issues with balance, sleep, and mobility.

Neuropathy can impact autonomic, sensory, and motor nerves and can be caused by medical complications, physical trauma, repetitive injury, infection, metabolic problems, toxin exposure, and even some drugs. People with diabetes also have a high risk of suffering from neuropathy.

The impact of neuropathy

More than 20 million people in the U.S. have been estimated to have some form of peripheral neuropathy, but this figure may be significantly higher because not all people with symptoms of neuropathy are tested for the disease and tests currently don’t look for all forms of neuropathy. Also, neuropathy is often misdiagnosed due to its complex array of symptoms.

  • About 8% of the U.S. population suffers from peripheral neuropathy
  • 185,000 amputations each year are due to neuropathy
  • The most common cause of peripheral neuropathy is diabetes; diabetes and obesity numbers are on the rise
  • 90% of people with neuropathy rely on medications or injections with serious side effects
  • Treatment options are focused on symptoms management without a long-term solution that gets to the root of the problem

Sadly, neuropathy can cause sufferers to lose their independence, feel like a burden to their loved ones, and experience symptoms of depression. Perhaps the most tragic thing of all is that despite Western medicine telling us there is no cure but to take prescription drugs like antidepressants and pain medications, the root cause of neuropathy can be treated.

Can peripheral nerves heal?

Yes! It is well established in the scientific literature that peripheral nerves can and do heal. When the underlying cause of the neuropathy is discovered, the cause of the damage is resolved, and proper support is provided, the nerves heal.

In order to effectively heal nerve damage, three key questions must be answered:

  1. What is the underlying cause of the nerve damage?
  2. How severe is the nerve damage?
  3. What types of nerve fibers are damaged?

The type of treatment required to heal your nerves will be dependent on the degree of nerve damage and what types of fibers are damaged. You have sensory nerves that carry pain, temperature, and pressure signals to your brain. You have motor nerves that carry signals to your muscles or glands to help you move. You also have autonomic nerves that carry signals to the blood vessels to control blood flow to various parts of your body. Our proprietary and comprehensive treatment program utilizes up to 8 different state-of-the-art technologies and is unlike any treatment program you may have already experienced.

The 4 vital components of our neuropathy protocol

Although there are some cases where neuropathy can’t be reversed, over the past several years we’ve helped more than 4,000 patients get rid of or completely reverse their neuropathy symptoms without medications, injections, or surgeries.

We use highly-studied and proven methods that free patients from the endless cycle of disease management and bring them back into a life of true health and wellbeing. With neuropathy specifically, the goals are to improve circulation, increase blood flow to the peripheral nerves, rehabilitate the damaged nerves, reduce inflammation, and address deficiencies to remove all barriers to healing.

We see success with our patients because we employ a four-part protocol, which can be done from home alongside occasional treatments provided in our clinics.

1. Neuropathy Nutrition Plan

Designed specifically for neuropathy, our nutrition plan optimizes for nitric oxide which opens up your blood vessels and keeps the blood flowing in those tiny little arteries that nourish your nerves and veins that carry away toxins.

Our nutritional protocol is easy-to-follow and fun—and our patients love it. Your body's healing capacity is further elevated with curated natural supplements to help your body produce more nitric oxide and fill the gap on any nutritional deficiencies that can be part of the problem.

2. Angiogenic Acceleration Therapy

This safe, effective, and FDA-approved use of low-level light therapy stimulates a process called angiogenesis, the creation of new blood vessels, specifically around a damaged area so the tissues can begin to heal. This is essential for properly transporting nutrients to heal areas of your body affected by neuropathy.

Low-level light therapy can reduce pain, improve immune function, accelerate wound healing, increase the production of DNA and collagen, and speed up the healing of fractures.

3. Digital Electro Therapeutic Stimulation

We use state of the art digital electro therapeutic stimulation to assist in the growth of the nerves (called nerve re-education). This technology is successfully used by the Cancer Treatment Centers of America in order to help those going through chemotherapy recover from nerve damage.

Rather than just manage pain, we help the damaged nerves re-learn how to function properly. This form of therapy can be done regularly, frequently, and conveniently from the comfort of your own home. The results in both pain relief and restoration of normal sensation can be immediate.

4. In-Clinic Visits & Online Education

We utilize a step-by-step approach to deliver our comprehensive program. In synergy with any home care therapy, occasional visits to our office provide the opportunity to check-in with our doctors and receive the amazing benefits of specific in-clinic only services.
